Gabriel: A story that concerns us

On 27 February we celebrate Passionist Feast of St. Gabriel (born Francesco Possenti) and especially us students as we celebrate our passion the patron saint. The vocation that, as life is a continuous move forward with no return and is not a going to lose or to change the world but to become a witness to change something that is from himself, is a step towards that something fascinating to be born and that causes a desire to seek and understand what the message, the way and once it finds, and includes not just have to trust in God
The same thing also happens to Francis Possenti. His call was not a flight and not one to go for success, or power, it was not going without direction or pushed by someone, but as a necessity born of the desire to respond to the call of God Passionist monastery is a place new to him, a lonely place and detached from the world and, once in monastery there are no parents, relatives, brothers and friends but called by the Lord and gathered in His name, there are no more games, entertainment, leisure as before, but it has the experience with God, he also learns to that living together is a community of brothers called "in" and "from" Lord. In the convent
us we are not by chance and we build our lives on their own, but as Gabriel are called to be witnesses, to be more for others, to be holy in society.
